Not me, boss !

Share lagi ini dari email hehe..

Not me,,,, Boss!

Author: *Unknown*

berkurang terus setiap hari, walau sedikit demi sedikit.

sampai meneguk air seni mereka.

Serta merta si penunggu rumah polos ini menyahut "Not me, Boss! Selama ini saya hanya selalu
pakai untuk keperluan memasak untuk para Boss!"

==============

*Moral kisah*: Kalau bisa bertanya, kenapa berasumsi? Kalau bisa sederhana, kenapa dibuat
rumit?
perlu.

*Have a positive day!*

Semangkuk Mie - Inspiring story

Pada malam itu, Ana bertengkar dengan ibunya. Karena sangat marah, Ana

segera meninggalkan rumah tanpa membawa apapun.

mencium harumnya aroma masakan. Ia ingin sekali memesan semangkuk bakmi,

tetapi ia tdk mempunyai uang. Pemilik kedai melihat Ana berdiri cukup

lama di depan kedainya, lalu berkata 'Nona, apakah engkau ingin memesan

         semangkuk bakmi?'

Ana segera makan

beberapa suap, kemudian air matanya mulai berlinang.

'Ada apa nona?' Tanya si pemilik kedai. 'tidak apa-apa' aku hanya terharu

jawab Ana sambil mengeringkan air matanya.' Bahkan, seorang yang baru

kukenal pun memberi aku semangkuk bakmi !, tetapi,? ibuku sendiri,

malah bertengkar dengannya'. Ana terhenyak mendengar hal tsb.

'Mengapa aku tidak berpikir tentang hal tersebut? Utk semangkuk bakmi dari orang yg

baru kukenal, aku begitu berterima kasih, tetapi kepada ibuku yg memasak

untukku selama bertahun-tahun, aku bahkan tidak memperlihatkan

kepedulianku kepadanya. Dan hanya karena persoalan sepele, aku

bertengkar dengannya. Ana segera menghabiskan bakminya, lalu ia

         kita.

         RENUNGAN:

BAGAIMANAPUN KITA TIDAK BOLEH MELUPAKAN JASA ORANG TUA KITA.

SERINGKALI KITA MENGANGGAP PENGORBANAN MEREKA MERUPAKAN SUATU PROSES

ALAMI YANG BIASA SAJA; TETAPI KASIH DAN KEPEDULIAN ORANG TUA KITA ADALAH

HADIAH PALING BERHARGA YANG DIBERIKAN KEPADA KITA SEJAK KITA LAHIR.

PIKIRKANLAH HAL ITU?? APAKAH KITA MAU MENGHARGAI PENGORBANAN TANPA

         SYARAT DARI ORANG TUA KITA?

HAI ANAK-ANAK, TAATILAH ORANG TUAMU DALAM SEGALA HAL, KARENA ITULAH YANG

         INDAH DIDALAM TUHAN.

         handai tolan Anda...

         Sharing is Caring.......

Take My Son

This is great.  It will make your day!

The ending will surprise you.

Take my Son

A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art.

When the Vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war.  He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.

About a month later, just before Christmas, there was a knock at the door.  A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands.

He said, "Sir, you don't know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life.  He saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly. He often talked about you, and your love for art."  The young man held out this package. "I know this isn't much. I'm not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this."

The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man.  He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture. "Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me.  It's a gift."

The father hung the portrait over his mantle.  Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected.

The man died a few months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings.  Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection .

On the platform sat the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel.  "We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture?"

There was silence.

Then a voice in the back of the room shouted, "We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one."

But the auctioneer persisted. "Will somebody bid for this painting. Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?"

Another voice angrily.
"We didn't come to see this painting. We came to see the Van Gogh's, the Rembrandts. Get on with the real bids!"

But still the auctioneer continued. "The son! The son! Who'll take the son?"

Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the longtime gardener of the man and his son. "I'll give $10 for the painting." Being a poor man, it was all he could afford.

"We have $10, who will bid $20?"

"Give it to him for $10. Let's see the masters."

"$10 is the bid, won't someone bid $20?"

The crowd was becoming angry. They didn't want the picture of the son.

They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections.

The auctioneer pounded the gavel. "Going once, twice, SOLD for $10!"

A man sitting on the second row shouted, "Now let's get on with the collection!"

The auctioneer laid down his gavel. "I'm sorry, the auction is over."

"What about the paintings?"

I am sorry.  When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will.  I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned  Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings.

The man who took the son gets everything!"

God gave His son 2,000 years ago to die on the cross.  Much like the auctioneer, His message today is:

"The son, the son, who'll take the son?"

Because, you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything.

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, WHO SO EVER BELIEVETH , SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE...THAT'S LOVE.

God Bless

Real Love

My wife called, 'How long will you be with that newspaper? Will you come here and make your darling daughter eat her food?

I tossed the paper away and rushed to the scene. My only daughter, Sindu, looked frightened; tears were welling up in her eyes. In front of her was a bowl filled to its brim with curd rice. Sindu is a nice child, quite intelligent for her age.

I cleared my throat and picked up the bowl. 'Sindu, darling, why don't you take a few mouthful of this curd rice? Just for Dad's sake, dear.'

Sindu softened a bit and wiped her tears with the back of her hands. 'Ok, Dad. I will eat - not just a few mouthfuls, but the whole lot of this. But, you should...' Sindu hesitated. 'Dad, if I eat this entire curd rice, will you give me whatever I ask for?'

'Promise'. I covered the pink soft hand extended by my daughter with mine, and clinched the deal. Now I became a bit anxious. 'Sindu, dear, you shouldn't insist on getting a computer or any such expensive items. Dad does not have that kind of money right now. Ok?'

'No, Dad. I do not want anything expensive'. Slowly and painfully, she finished eating the whole quantity. I was silently angry with my wife and my mother for forcing my child to eat something that she detested.

After the ordeal was through, Sindu came to me with her eyes wide with expectation. All our attention was on her.

'Dad, I want to have my head shaved off, this Sunday!' was her demand.

'Atrocious!' shouted my wife, 'A girl child having her head shaved off? Impossible!'

'Never in our family!' My mother rasped. 'She has been watching too much of television. Our culture is getting totally spoiled with these TV programs!'

'Sindu, darling, why don't you ask for something else? We will be sad seeing you with a clean-shaven head.'

'Please, Sindu, why don't you try to understand our feelings?' I tried to plead with her.

'Dad, you saw how difficult it was for me to eat that curd rice.'
Sindu was in tears. 'And you promised to grant me whatever I ask for. Now, you are going back on your words. Was it not you who told me the story of King Harishchandra, and its moral that we should honor our promises no matter what?'

It was time for me to call the shots. 'Our promise must be kept.'

'Are you out of your mind?' chorused my mother and wife.

'No. If we go back on our promises, she will never learn to honour her own... Sindu, your wish will be fulfilled.'

With her head clean-shaven, Sindu had a round-face, and her eyes looked big and beautiful.

On Monday morning, I dropped her at her school. It was a sight to watch my hairless Sindu walking towards her classroom. She turned around and waved. I waved back with a smile. Just then, a boy alighted from a car, and shouted, 'Sinduja, please wait for me!' What struck me was the hairless head of that boy. May be, that is the in-stuff', I thought.

'Sir, your daughter Sinduja is great indeed!' Without introducing herself, a lady got out of the car, and continued, 'that boy who is walking along with your daughter is my son Harish. He is suffering from... leukemia.' She paused to muffle her sobs. 'Harish could not attend the school for the whole of the last month. He lost all his hair due to the side effects of the chemotherapy. He refused to come back to school fearing the unintentional but cruel teasing of the schoolmates. Sinduja visited him last week, and promised him that she will take care of the teasing issue. But, I never imagined she would sacrifice her lovely hair for the sake of my son! Sir, you and your wife are blessed to have such a noble soul as your daughter!'

I stood transfixed and then, I wept. 'My little Angel, you are teaching me how selfless real love is!'

The happiest people on this planet are not those who live on their own terms but are those who change their terms for the ones whom they love.
